ARTWERK

The seeds of Artwerk began in the band SSP. It featured Gary Siess (drums and vocals) Tim Prince (bass) and Arthur Scrutchins (guitar, keyboard and vocals). They played together across the state of Oklahoma for about three years, sometimes joined by other musicians for performances.

In 2009 Scrutchins, Siess and Prince reunited for a jam session and trip down memory lane. "Artwerk" was born.

Artwerk's debut album, Shelf Portrait, includes songs written in the 1970's with other contemporary compositions. Some of the tracks will remind you of the garage band that you used to listen to years ago. Most of the songs on the album deal with issues of the heart: love and loss. A variety of sounds and moods are contained on Shelf Portrait.

Artwerk's second CD, Under the Shade of Trees, is a blend of indie and acoustic rock, Nice lyrics and the right mix of instruments makes "Under The Shade Of Trees" a delightful CD.

Artwerk's third CD, Son of the Big Red One  is described as "innovative rock that emerged from 70's roots". Now available on iTunes, Amazon.com or CD Baby!
